Ingredients: 100% beeswax
The beeswax we use is unadulterated and comes straight from these hives to us. Its natural wildflower aroma is just as impressive as the 210 acres of solid native wildflowers where the hives are kept by our partnering Amish beekeeper.
To make the candles we hand-clean the wax and heat it to perfection. Every candle is hand-poured with precision so the candles have the all-important clean solid bottom that allows its flame to burn strong to the very end; so as not to waste a drop of this incredible wax.
Our beekeeper keeps the bees, harvests their honey and wax, organically via age-old generational traditions passed down through his family. Both the honey and wax are routinely tested and recognized by a leading, internationally acclaimed, agricultural university's Apiary Department, even surpassing their own, as "Some of the Best Honey and Wax in the Country”.
The golden flame of a 100% beeswax candle not only emits the same light spectrum as the sun, but its golden flame has been shown in clinical studies to have a calming effect on humans and animals. Soy and paraffin have a cooler and bluer flame which causes agitation in humans and animals as shown in clinical studies.
The flame also burns so hot it releases air-purifying negative ions. Soy and paraffin candles are not capable of doing any of this. Beeswax candles also burn clean and much longer than both soy and paraffin candles.
