Like everything else, our pillows are hand-crafted and made for longevity with only light maintenance required.
Merino wool is naturally hypoallergenic, repellent to moisture, resistant to dust mites, mold, mildew, bacteria and microbes, and fire retardant. A perfect pillows for allergy sufferers.
Merino pillows deliver a higher quality night's sleep by keep your head cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It does this by "breathing" through "vents" in its fiber.
The pillow’s loft will adjust to the needed height from mattress surface to your resting head height, providing firm support with gentle cushioning.
Our Merino sheep are humanely cared for and reside in Northern Michigan on story-book, low carbon-foot print, ranches.
Our wool is handled organically and hand-washed in bio-degradable organic soap.
When it is processed/carded the humidity within the building is raised to high levels to control static. Most mills in America spray their wool with man-made synthetic oils to control static. These synthetic oils are known to cause skin irritations.
We encase our pillows in a ultra-soft cotton, 300-thread-count, fabric that won't trap heat or air and closes with a durable zipper.
