Bee Sweet and Healthy

Our Amish Raw Honey’s Tale

An Amish Beekeeper

The tale of our honey, Bee Sweet and Healthy, starts here, with one Amish beekeeper we have known and worked with since 1974. We take great pride in being exclusive to his natural raw wildflower honey.

Gravity Harvested

He also doesn't spin or use centrifugal force to extract the honey from the comb. He lets it drip out, all on its own. By doing this the live enzymes in the honey are not weakened or damaged by the g-force or heat as they would be if spun out of the comb like modern- day practice.

Vast Field of Wildflowers

He has just over 210 acres of wildflowers. Wildflowers are in every direction as far as you can see. It's here his bees get to live out their days, un-kept by modern-day beekeeping practices.

Hand Bottled

The stronger the live enzymes, the stronger and faster they build your immune system. Physicians have recorded a substantial improvement in our customers' health who have consistently consumed our honey: healing heart conditions, stabilizing diabetic a1c levels, and gaining control of severe allergies.

Age Old Traditions

He doesn't feed the bees in the winter, no refined sugar or high fructose corn syrup. He only medicates his hives with an organic human-grade food mixture; his bees are never given man-made medicines or chemicals.

To Your Table… Yum!

As we have his honey tested for its pollination content, it has continually been recognized by a leading. internationally acclaimed agricultural University's Apiary Department, even surpassing their own, as "Some of the Best Honey in the Country". So come, Enjoy Its Pure Goodness!

Bee Sweet and Healthy, Three Variations

Raw Wildflower

Raw honey is a power house in and of itself! It aids in the healing of many health issues, many cosmetic purposes and also as a natural sweeter in foods.

Raw Ceylon Cinnamon

Besides providing many other health benefits, outside of America, Ceylon Cinnamon infused raw honey is used by doctors around the world for improving heart health.

Raw Lemon Honey

Lemon infused raw honey aids in healing sore throats, removing chest congestion and calming coughs. It is also great in tea! Some will use it for cooking and making lemonade too.

Ceylon Cinnamon vs Cassia Cinnamon

We choose to use Ceylon cinnamon, often referred to as "true cinnamon," for its superior quality and naturally low coumarin content. Unlike Cassia cinnamon, the variety most commonly found in U.S. supermarkets and used as an ingredient in many commercially produced food products, Ceylon cinnamon contains only trace amounts of coumarin. Cassia cinnamon can contain coumarin levels that are many times higher than those found in Ceylon cinnamon, making it an important consideration for individuals who regularly consume cinnamon as part of their diet. Ceylon cinnamon also offers a more delicate, subtly sweet flavor profile, making it a preferred choice for those seeking exceptional taste and a more mindful approach to everyday wellness.

Honey Has Many Variations

Raw Honey

Raw Honey means honey as it exists in the beehive: honey that has not been heated over 105 degrees or filtered. Raw Honey has all its natural vitamins, enzymes, and nutrients intact, making it a "live" food and beneficial to one health.

Creamed / Whipped / Candied

Creamed honey is a result of a controlled crystallization process by the beekeeper, creating smooth, creamy, and spreadable honey. The smaller the crystals, the more desirable.

Crystallized Honey

Many assume that crystallized honey is spoiled. This is not so. Crystallization naturally happens when glucose, one of the main natural sugars in honey, loses moisture and takes the form of a crystal. Honey can be stored outside of a refrigerator.

Comb Honey

A honeycomb, crafted by bees consists of wax cells to store honey in the hive and is edible for humans. All of the honeycomb can be eaten, including the wax and raw honey contained.

Health and Flavor Infused

Medicinal benefits can be increased even more by infusing raw honey with herbs and spices. Infusing it with fun flavorings can add even more interest to its already great taste.
